  Entry #1: The World is Your Blog I intentionally thought that blogs were an outdated and relevant concept that served no purpose in society especially in the year 2023. And although it does seem like blogs for the most have their glory days behind them (as it is hard to find one that has made an updated post in the last 4 years) I now see the purpose that blogs can serve and why a person would make one.  I read three different blog websites. Words for Worms, The Dish, and Occupy Wall Street. I liked Words for Worms and Occupy Wall Street however, I did not like The Dish.  Words for Worms is a blog a book reviews. The author’s name is Katie and she reviews various different books of all different genres on her blog. What I liked about her blog is the writing style. Her reviews are very unserious and have personal antidotes.  Hi, my name is Katelynn. Welcome to my blog!  Some of my hobbies include reading and watching tv. My interests include marvel and dc movies and shows, and politics. My major is political science.   Research has the purpose of informing. Research has impacted me by making me a critical thinker. I have been able to become well informed and passionate about many different topics through research. Research is vitally important and must also be done carefully so that we know we are being well informed and given accurate information. The interment has made research easier than ever before, but it has also made it easier to corrupt than ever before. No all research will give of the most factual results that why we must be critical in our research as well.
